It was then decided it was time to travel, Dan spent 4 years at Essex in England working in a small animal practice. Eventually the English climate encouraged a return to Australia.
Upon arrival back in Australia in 2005, Dan called in to Gympie Veterinary Services to say hello to a friend and walked out with a positon and he has worked at Gympie Veterinary Services ever since.
Dan also works at the Pet E.R. on the Sunshine Coast as an emergency and critical care veterinarian working night and weekend shifts. In 2011 he passed his critical care and emergency membership examinations, an additional qualification held by less than 100 veterinarians in the Australasian region. Dan and his wife Cara live at Cooroy with cats, cattle and chooks. His interests include tinkering with wood and his tractor.
